Hi guys,
I'm having a play with with the mqtt addon at the moment so I can control from Home Assistant, end setup will hopefully be a windows tablet with motion on/off from home assistant sensors, slideshow when idle and on touch screen tap will close and show the home assistant dashboard until idle for x seconds then resume slideshow.
I'm having trouble with the monitor on/off mqtt command at the moment, the off command works fine but the on command does nothing, I need to give the device physical mouse/kb input for the screen to wake again, any ideas? I first tried in Windows 11 but had the issue so reloaded with Windows 10 and had the same result.
Cheers.

Re: MQTT monitor on
Hello,
are you using gPhotoShow as screen saver ? In this case the command "monitor on" will never work because when the monitor is turned off by power management windows (10 or 11 is the same) kills then screen saver so gPhotoShow will never receive the monitor on command
Only solution is to run gPhotoShow as slideshow
