Hello,
I'm new to gPhoto and test it out right now before buying.
I want to build a picture frame on my own.
Up to now I've used a Google Nest Hub 2. I like the option to show 2 portrait mode pictures instead of one cropped/ stretched.
Naturally those 2 portrait images are slightly cropped as well but it looks more natural to me.
Have I overlooked an option in gPhoto to achieve this?
I think this would be a great enhancement of the software in case it's not yet implemented.

Any thoughts?

that feature is not implemented and for now there is no plan to implement it

May be a feature for version 9 since you already have panorama-detection.

The feature set of gPhoto is quite impressive. I think I buy it.
