I only have Dissolve enabled in the transitions.

When gPhotoShow runs and I hit enter to go to the next wallpaper it used
to use the Dissolve effect but now it just changes the image with no transition.

Any ideas what the issue could be?

this behavior is by design.
gPhotoShow Free doesn't use hw acceleration to perform transition for this reason to quickly go to next picture it skips transitions when you press a key to skip to next picture.

hmmm... I have gPhotoShow Pro, does that matter?

I was certain that it used to use the transition with a key press...maybe I imagined it...

I don't know why I wrote about the Free edition, anyway gPhotoShow Pro, when using DirectX, performs transitions but they are much faster, about 100ms. If not using DirectX it disables transition as the Free edition.

OK, is that a setting in gPhotoShow to enable using directx, or is it automatic? thanks
