the .exe I create only plays. I'm use to software, where the .exe that is generated, takes the user through an install process and loads a screen saver that can be chose through the control panel/personalize/screen saver etc.

is this possible with this application?

I am not sure about what is your question, anyway if you install InnoSetup gPhotoShow Pro can create a setup program that will take care of installing the screen saver on the computer and optionally set it as the default screen saver. The setup script created by gPhotoShow can be customized as you wish by using the InnoSetup editor.

I just learned this. I'm just a little confused. does the InnoSetup need to be on the computer I'm installing the screen saver on? or on the computer I'm building the screensaver on?

InnoSetup must be installed on the computer where you are building the screen saver on.
