ImageOverlay and AudioVolume Plugins not working on exported SS

Hi -
I notice that during the ss creation process the IncludePlugins box is only accessable with the InnoSetup feature, but the box is ticked by default if Inno is not being used. I have tried both with and without InnoSetup and these problems are the same regardless.
I have error logging enabled but where can I find the log file?
1) I have the ImageOverlay plugins installed and it works fine on the machine I use to create the screensaver, running in preview, or in the saved file. However the overlay does not appear when the ss is created. Yes, during the ss making process the box saying IncludeEnabledPlugins is ticked.
2) Likewise I have the AudioVolume plugin installed and it works fine running in preview or on the creator machine. However on the other machine the ss exits rather than increasing or decreasing the volume.
Fixing these two problems is essential to my plans at the moment so I am hoping it can be fixed,
and it is not that the plugins simply do not work on exported screensavers ....
Thanks for your help ~
