Google Connect - not working
Google Connect - not working
Worked fine when I had it on my primary machine, but I moved it to a different machine, and now, it no longer downloads.
Re: Google Connect - not working
Hello,
the plugin needs to download a list of all pictures in your photo gallery and this can take some minutes, leave the screen saver to run and it should start downloading

Re: Google Connect - not working
I've left it on for hours....no worky.
Re: Google Connect - not working
Unfortunately I don't have an answer, maybe google is refusing connections because there is too much traffic from gPhotoShow
edit:
I just tested the plugin and didn't find any problem, it download correctly. If you used it before try to delete everything in the folder where it stores pictures, there is a caching that prevents it from downloading too much pictures so if you change settings it is possible it doesn't download anything new for some hours.

Re: Google Connect - not working
Tried that as well. Plugin worked fine on my primary but just does not work on a different machine. Is there no logging?
Re: Google Connect - not working
You can enable error logging in gPhotoShow Pro About page of settings window. Log file will also contain logs from plugins.
I updated the GoogleConnect plugin, v1.2.4 now cleans local cache when you change Google Photos folders to download.

Darn, I moved it back to my primary machine, still does not work, and I've let it run all night. I'll download the new version and try the logging.

Re: Google Connect - not working
For sure those are not the only [GoogleConn lines, you should see something like these:
[GoogleConn Plugin]: Refresh 0: lastTm=15/07/2020 11:56:25, min=125.0, retries=0
[GoogleConn Plugin]: OAuth, CheckToken
[GoogleConn Plugin]: QueryServerApi: POST, ....
[GoogleConn Plugin]: QueryServerApi(): RetCode: 0
[GoogleConn Plugin]: 467 Items found
they means, refresh started, no errors (retcode 0) and 467 images found
then several lines where images are downloaded:
[GoogleConn Plugin]: DownloadImage(),...
at the end:
[GoogleConn Plugin]: Api Calls: 11, Api Errors: 0
[GoogleConn Plugin]: Downloads: 1, Errors: 0
Check the line with CheckToken, if there is an error then nothing is downloaded
If there is a OAuth error you must disconnect from Google and connect again. The configuration window should detect this situation.

I'm telling you, those are the only lines. I've searched the whole file, but I've attached it so you can see for yourself.
