Convert to video

Post by MacShot »

Hi,

Can I convert my slideshow created in Slideshow Maker into a video file, e.g. mp4 or avi?

Regards,
Mac

Hello,
No, it is not possible, gPhotoShow is basically a screen saver and can't create video

Dear Mac,

You could run the slide show and capture to a video with something like Camtasia. I have Corel video Studio which has a capture tool i use to capture the screen to a video.

gPhotoShow works fine. I use it to produce a slide show with music on my desktop , but when I transfer the slideshow to my laptop for viewing the slideshow is ok andt the music file is there but no music plays. I suspect a windows setting is wrong on my HP laptop. Any suggestions?

Hard to guess which is the problem. First check the audio volume settings on your pc. Then in gPhotoshow "Sound and Music" configuration page make sure the folders configured contains files with supported file extensions. Click on "View files" to see the files that gPhotoShow has found
Also check that "play sounds and music using" is set to MediaPlayer
