Re: How many images can Wallpaper Slideshow LT Free handle?

Now I understand. You added 219 files to the images list. The free version of WallpaperSS uses a very simple algorithm, files added directly to images list are always in its list, they are never removed because the program have a single files list. You should remove them and just add a folder contai...

Re: How many images can Wallpaper Slideshow LT Free handle?

wallpaperss.wgs is a text file, you can open it with notepad and see files list. If the file has been saved I don't think it can be corrupted.

Re: How many images can Wallpaper Slideshow LT Free handle?

WallpaperSS saves its settings and files list in C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\WallpaperSS\wallpaperss.wgs This is a simple text file, it contains program settings and all files the program found in configured folders + all files you added to the list. Re: How many images can Wallpaper Slideshow LT Free handle?

Random or sequential display doesn't make any difference. In any case a files list should be saved before the system is closed. If the system is closed in a way WallpaperSS has no time to save its files list then it happens what you noticed, images could be repeated.

Re: How many images can Wallpaper Slideshow LT Free handle?

Wallpaper Slideshow has very high limits on image number, it can handle thousands images without problems.
To avoid repeating images make sure the setting "Save displayed image list to disk" in Options window is ticked.

Re: Error when launching config

Hello,
Error 2 means file doesn't not exist. How do you configure screen saver ?
If you installed the 64 bit version of gPhotoShow executable name is different, to configure screen saver you should use the shortcut created by the installer or better Windows Settings / Control Panel

Re: Photos not rotating after reboot

Hello, On the settings window WallpaperSS displays date and time of last wallpaper change, can you check what it displays after a program restart and after an image change ? It is possible that date/time saved to file are not parsed correctly. In this case it would be useful to know how date is form...

Re: Any plans to port GPS to any raspberry OS?

GPhotoShow is strictly tied to windows architecture, porting the program to another system would require a complete rewrite. I don't think it will happen in the near future, it would require too much time and effort

Re: Image not fully stretched

The option "Always fill the screen" is useful to stretch images that have the same orientation as the monitor but different aspect ratio. gPhotoShow applies it ONLY if pictures and screen have the same orientation, this means it will never resize a portrait image to fill a landscape oriented monitor...
