Digital Picture Frame

How to use gPhotoShow to build a digital picture frame - Part 3

gPhotoShow Settings

Installing gPhotoShow Pro is quick and easy. I also installed the following plugins: Monitor On/Off, Weather, MQTT

I decided to used gPhotoShow as slideshow maker instead of screen saver. The reason is that on Windows 10 when monitor is turned off (by windows power management) the screen saver is killed but I want to keep gPhotoShow running so I can use the MonitorOn/off plugin to turn on the monitor on again in the morning. In addition you don't have to wait for the screen saver timeout, the slideshow can start as soon as the computer starts.

Here are the settings I changed from defaults

Images: added the directory where pictures are stored. I also added a directory on our NAS but for now I am not going to use it. Image display time is set to 1 minute
